General Questions
French Bulldogs are one of the most popular companion breeds in the world — and for good reason! They’re affectionate, adaptable, playful, and incredibly charming. Frenchies are perfect for apartments, families with children, and first-time dog owners. They’re low-maintenance in grooming, don’t require excessive exercise, and love nothing more than being by your side. Their bat ears, wrinkly faces, and silly personalities make them impossible not to love!
Absolutely! French Bulldogs are known for their patient, gentle, and affectionate nature — making them excellent family dogs. They typically get along well with children and other pets when properly socialized. Our puppies are raised in a home environment with exposure to children and other animals, giving them a head start on being well-adjusted family members.
The average lifespan of a French Bulldog is 10-14 years. With proper care, a healthy diet, regular veterinary checkups, and responsible breeding, many Frenchies live long, happy lives. Our health-tested breeding program helps reduce the risk of genetic conditions that could impact lifespan.
No! French Bulldogs are a low-energy breed. A daily walk of 15-20 minutes and some indoor playtime is usually sufficient. They’re brachycephalic (flat-faced), so they’re sensitive to heat and shouldn’t be over-exercised, especially in warm weather. They’re perfectly content cuddling on the couch — making them ideal for apartment living and busy families.
French Bulldogs are intelligent and eager to please, but they can also be a bit stubborn! With positive reinforcement training (treats, praise, and patience), they learn quickly. Consistency is key. We recommend starting training and socialization as early as possible. Our puppies begin basic crate and potty training before they go home, giving you a head start.
French Bulldogs have short, fine coats that shed moderately year-round, with slightly more shedding in spring and fall. Regular brushing (1-2 times per week) helps manage shedding. They’re relatively low-maintenance in grooming compared to long-haired breeds. A quick wipe-down with a damp cloth keeps their coat shiny and clean.

Adoption & Pricing
Our French Bulldog puppies typically range from $3,000 to $8,000 depending on color, gender, and pedigree. Merle and blue-coated puppies may be priced higher due to their rarity. Pricing reflects the quality of our breeding program — including health testing, veterinary care, socialization, AKC registration, and the lifetime support we provide. Contact us for specific pricing on available puppies.
To reserve a puppy, contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone to confirm availability. Once approved, a non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to hold your puppy. The deposit is applied toward the total purchase price. The remaining balance is due before your puppy goes home. We’ll keep you updated with photos and videos as your puppy grows!
The $500 deposit is non-refundable. This policy ensures we’re not holding a puppy that another family could have adopted. However, in rare cases where a health issue prevents the puppy from going home, the deposit is fully refundable or can be transferred to another available puppy or upcoming litter.
Our puppies go to their new homes at a minimum of 8 weeks of age. This ensures they’ve had sufficient time with their mother and littermates for proper socialization, received their first vaccinations, and are physically ready for the transition. Some puppies may stay longer based on veterinary recommendations or individual development.
We accept bank transfers, credit/debit cards, and cash for final payments. Deposits can be made via bank transfer or credit card. All payments must clear before the puppy goes home. We do not accept personal checks for final payment.
Yes! We maintain a waitlist for families who want first pick of upcoming litters. Waitlist families are notified before puppies are publicly listed on our website. Contact us via WhatsApp at +1 (303) 406-3380 or email at contact@littlefrenchiepaws.com to join the waitlist. Let us know your preferences (color, gender, timing) and we’ll keep you informed!

Health & Guarantees
Yes! Every puppy comes with a one-year written health guarantee covering genetic conditions. This guarantee reflects our confidence in our health-tested breeding program. If your puppy is diagnosed with a genetic condition within the first year, we’ll work with you to provide a replacement puppy or refund, depending on the situation.
All our breeding dogs undergo comprehensive health testing including OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) evaluations for hips and patellas, CERF eye exams, cardiac exams, and DNA genetic testing for breed-specific conditions. This ensures we’re only breeding from healthy, genetically sound parents — reducing the risk of passing on hereditary conditions.
Absolutely! Every puppy receives age-appropriate vaccinations and a complete deworming schedule before going home. Puppies receive their first vaccinations at 6-7 weeks and a booster at 8-9 weeks. We provide complete vaccination and deworming records with each puppy, so your veterinarian knows exactly what has been administered.
Your puppy comes with: AKC registration papers, up-to-date vaccination and deworming records, a veterinary health certificate, a one-year written health guarantee, a starter bag of puppy food, a blanket with mom’s scent to ease the transition, a comprehensive care guide, and lifetime support from us!
Yes! All our puppies come with full AKC (American Kennel Club) registration papers. This certifies your puppy’s purebred lineage and pedigree. AKC registration provides you with official documentation of your Frenchie’s breed authenticity and allows you to participate in AKC events and activities if desired.
We stand behind every puppy we place. If your puppy develops a health issue, contact us immediately. For genetic conditions covered under our one-year health guarantee, we’ll work with you and your veterinarian to resolve the situation. We also provide lifetime support and guidance for any health questions that arise throughout your dog’s life. We genuinely care about every puppy we breed.

Puppy Care
We recommend feeding a high-quality, breed-appropriate puppy food. Your puppy comes with a starter bag of the food they’ve been eating — continue with this food for at least the first few weeks to avoid digestive upset. If you switch foods, do so gradually over 7-10 days. French Bulldogs can have sensitive stomachs, so choose a food with quality protein and limited fillers. Consult your veterinarian for personalized feeding recommendations.
Consistency and positive reinforcement are key! Take your puppy outside frequently (after waking, eating, playing, and every 1-2 hours). Choose a designated potty spot and use a cue word. Reward immediately with treats and praise when they go outside. French Bulldogs are smart and eager to please — with patience and consistency, most puppies are potty trained within a few weeks. Crate training greatly aids the process!
Yes! French Bulldogs are brachycephalic (flat-faced), which means they have difficulty cooling themselves in hot weather. They’re very sensitive to heat and can quickly suffer from heatstroke. Never leave your Frenchie in a parked car, avoid exercising in hot weather, provide air conditioning and shade, and always have fresh water available. Watch for signs of overheating: excessive panting, drooling, weakness, or collapse. In summer, limit outdoor activity to early morning and evening.
French Bulldogs are relatively low-maintenance. Brush their short coat 1-2 times per week to manage shedding. Clean their facial folds daily with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly to prevent skin infections. Trim nails every 2-3 weeks. Clean ears weekly. Bathe only when needed (every 4-6 weeks). Don’t forget dental care — brush teeth regularly or provide dental chews approved by your vet.
We recommend discussing the timing with your veterinarian, as individual factors vary. Generally, for French Bulldogs, spaying/neutering is recommended between 9-18 months of age. Some vets recommend waiting until the dog is fully grown to allow proper bone and joint development. If you purchased your puppy on a pet-only (non-breeding) basis, spaying/neutering is typically required as part of your adoption agreement.
Essential supplies include: a crate (medium size, 30-inch), food and water bowls (stainless steel recommended), puppy food, a collar and leash, ID tags, puppy pads, toys (chew toys, plush toys, puzzle toys), a bed, grooming supplies (brush, nail clippers, ear cleaner), enzyme cleaner for accidents, and baby gates for restricting areas. We’ll send you a complete preparation checklist before your puppy comes home!
