Adoption Questions

Adoption FAQ

Common questions about our adoption process.

The timeline depends on puppy availability and your readiness. Once you’ve found your puppy and placed a deposit, the process typically takes 1-4 weeks — depending on when the puppy reaches 8 weeks of age and receives final veterinary clearance. We’ll keep you updated every step of the way.
The deposit is $500 and is non-refundable. It holds your puppy and is applied toward the total purchase price. The non-refundable policy ensures that we’re not holding a puppy that another family could have adopted. The remaining balance is due before your puppy goes home.
Absolutely! We encourage prospective families to visit and meet the puppies. Visits are by appointment only to ensure we can give you our undivided attention. For the health and safety of our puppies, we limit visitors until puppies have received their first vaccinations (around 6-7 weeks).
Yes! We offer safe, climate-controlled pet transport throughout the United States. We use trusted pet transport services that prioritize your puppy’s comfort and safety. Shipping costs vary by destination — contact us for a personalized quote.
We accept bank transfers, credit/debit cards, and cash for final payments. Deposits can be made via bank transfer or credit card. All payments must clear before the puppy goes home. We do not accept personal checks for final payment.
We understand that life circumstances can change. If at any point in your puppy’s life you can no longer care for them, we ask that you contact us first. We will help you find a suitable new home or, if necessary, take the dog back. We never want one of our puppies to end up in a shelter.
Our puppies go to their new homes at a minimum of 8 weeks of age. This ensures they’ve had sufficient time with their mother and littermates for proper socialization, received their first vaccinations, and are physically ready for the transition. Some puppies may stay longer based on veterinary recommendations.
Yes! We provide lifetime support for all our puppy families. Whether you have questions about training, health, nutrition, or behavior — we’re always just a message away. We love receiving updates and photos of our puppies as they grow!
